. . a very wise dude once told me - ‚There is no such thing as trying. If you try, you already D O.‘ . . I met the guy - which this one foot in the picture belongs to - in a yoga studio in canggu / bali, when Jenni and I went out to create some footage. . He appeared out of nothing, barely talking english, but insisting on making an akroyogapose for a nice picture. I said, hmm wowy i’m flattered and honored, that you would do so.. but i‘m nooot quite sure about it- i‘m not familiar with akro yoga.. and honestly, it‘s not what i want people to believe i do. . but he did not at all take ‚no, not sure about that‘ for an answer. ‚Naissnaiss, kammkamm!‘, were his words and - woops - there he was, lying on his back with a flipped right leg and a little scary grin in his face ready to lift me up. . I‘m not much of a no sayer anyway in terms of such coincidences - so, schwupps, there i was bending my back over his foot as he told me, not at all knowing what i do, or if he is really an akro instructor. Or probably the neighbor having fun fooling another hipster gal in another super hipp bali yoga studio around. i didnt care either way - the situation was already too funny. . I really got hyped. akro, woohooo, is T H E new shizzle, i thought. it worked S O well. . Well. . For two more poses. Then i fell on his groins in a very unhealthy way. with all my certainly very painful bodyload. And he had to go see a doctor. On one motor scooter. With 2 other people. In Bali. . Poor guy. I felt terrible. But still definately not as much as he did. . . There is not that big of a lesson to this story - except for- Let‘s > stop the hesitation of ‚ok, i’ll try’ > simply D O it - confidently > live the chances life offers > embrace the phenomenal stories we are given through them. . . . even though sometimes the outcome isn’t always painfree. . . . . and for me, personally - do more akro yoga before you say ‚yes‘ the next time. . hoopsi. . . •
